The HGSE Writers Room

The HGSE Writers Room Zoom meeting

Leading the HGSE Writers Room was a highlight of my year, and that has everything to do with the members. With warmth, support, and humor, the group tried a different genre of writing each time we met. When classes moved online, we kept writing together over Zoom. We focused on humor writing at our last meeting (I’m biased, but it’s the best genre) and collaborated on a group-written piece. — Sarah Garfinkel (Ed.M. candidate in the Language and Literacy Program)
