What were you doing before you came to HGSE?

Before coming to HGSE, I was working as the Bilingual Recruitment Specialist at For Love of Children (FLOC), a tutoring and college access organization in Washington, DC that supports low-income and underrepresented students reach their full potential.

Why did you want to work in an Admissions office?

I wanted to work in the Admissions Office to understand the initiatives that are being done behind the scenes to bring access to information and spaces for students, and in particular, underrepresented students. As a product of grad school fairs in DC and through the Institute for the Recruitment of Teachers (IRT), virtual sessions for students of color and LGBTQ students, and the Diversity Recruitment Program in the fall of 2018, I wanted to be a part of these efforts that continue to demystify Harvard for students. I am so excited to be a part of the HGSE Admission team this year!
