J-Term at HGSE

The official winter break at HGSE is long…over one month to be exact! Finals from fall semester officially ended on December 20th, and course previews for spring semester begin on January 22. Many students take this time to relax, spend time with loved ones, and gear up for a new batch of classes. That said, plenty of students return early to participate in J-term, an opportunity to devote time to a singular class either at HGSE or across the university between the fall and spring semesters. It is a great time for students to engage in meaningful credit and non-credit courses in topics ranging from Informal Learning for Children to Learning through Observations in Museums and Beyond. Check out some more offerings below, and stay tuned for more J-term blog posts in the coming weeks!

“I will be taking Accountability, Assessment, and Evaluation with Jim Antony, and Debating Education Policy with Fred Hess. I am excited to dip a toe into the K-12 world with the latter, as I haven’t done so much yet, and I hear HGSE is a good place to do so.”- Andrew Marshall, Higher Education
